At the end of September, a multidisciplinary meeting of manufacturers from Moscow and the Moscow region with local entrepreneurs took place in the Republic of Azerbaijan in Baku. The main purpose of the business mission is to expand the geography of sales of Russian products.
The common history and cultural ties have consistently contributed to trade relations between the two countries. Azerbaijani food products have always been popular in Russia, the prefix "Baku" cucumbers or tomatoes has long been a sign of quality and taste for the Russian consumer. But Russian food producers have not been inferior in quality or taste for a long time, and they are ready to present their best products to the Azerbaijani market.
Among the Russian manufacturers, Tablecloth-Samobranka also presented its opportunities for cooperation. The products of the Tablecloth-Samobranka trademark are already present on the Azerbaijani market, but thanks to a new business initiative from the Russian export center and the export support fund of the Moscow region, the company was able to find new opportunities to expand its presence, held many promising meetings with local business representatives and retail chains.
TM "SKATERT-SAMOBRANKA" trademark was represented at business meetings by commercial director Vladimir Alexandrovich Yakovlev, for whom Azerbaijan is a special place, he has lived here for 18 years and therefore considers it his native land.
Vladimir Alexandrovich Yakovlev shared his memories and talked about the company's opportunities in the region: "In the 80s of the last century, my parents moved to the city of Agdam in connection with work, where I went to school. Then we returned to Moscow, but I continued to communicate with my Azerbaijani friends. And now, if I see mutton from Azerbaijan on the Moscow market, I definitely buy it and cook my signature dish "Shah Pilaf" … I know that Russian pickles are loved here, and therefore I would really like our factory to enter the Azerbaijan market. In fact, our products are already supplied to Baku markets through individual Russian distributors, but we would like to establish communication and work directly with Azerbaijan. We fully control the entire process of vegetable conservation - from planting and harvesting to the production of final products. I would like to note that SKATERT-SAMOBRANKA is one of the leaders in the capacity and production of fruit and vegetable conservation in Russia. Our most popular products are pickles, tomatoes and jalapeno peppers. In turn, if earlier jalapenos were delivered to Russia from Turkey and India, today our product has completely replaced them on the Russian market."
